Account Executive

London, United Kingdom | Commercial | Full-time | Partially remote

Trail is changing the way hospitality is run.

From independent coffee shops to blue-chip chains to some of your favourite spots like Honest Burger, wagamama and Leon. We're building tools to simplify the daily jobs busy teams do each day. And we need your help ✊

We’ve built an amazing set of relationships in the sector, all brokered by Salespeople who are passionate about what we do, and who want to change the status quo.
We’ve grown fast and have an awesome reputation based on a product that delivers, and a way of doing business that is honest and fair. We want you to join, taking us from the UK to wider markets, out to businesses ready to transform their ways of working.

This is the perfect job for a smart, hungry Salesperson looking to make an impact at a fast-growth company. Come and join a team that are always learning, experimenting, and pushing each other on.

How we work

Trail has always been remote-first. There’s an optional London office where all 21 of us gathered every 2 weeks (and aim to continue in the Summer).

There are 3 teams - Product, Growth, and Customers. You’ll be part of Growth, a mixed-discipline team that experiment to find the best way to acquire new customers and grow revenue.

What you’ll be doing

You will build and maintain relationships that deliver value to people who buy Trail. You'll be turning leads into opportunities and nurturing them through to close. Then working closely with the Customer Success team to onboard, retain, and upsell. And ultimately pushing our revenue growth.

Your day to day will include:

  • Prospecting to build and maintain a robust sales pipeline
  • Exploring innovative and authentic ways to connect with buyers
  • Nurturing, building strong relationships, and expanding your network
  • Demoing leads passed from prospecting team - remotely and on the road as needed
  • Using proven tactics to close deals, from challenger to solution selling
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
  • Expand industry knowledge and the way we sell as a company, improving processes and sales material to help the whole team succeed
